Here’s a quick and easy dinner recipe that makes the keto lifestyle delicious and full of flavor. Change up the side veggie to your favorite or make this steamed broccoli!
Hamburgers with Steamed Broccoli
This is a recipe that I have often. Tastes great any night of the week and you can switch it up with different ground meats. Add your favorite cheese for those extra special occasions!
- 1-1/3 lbs ground beef 80/20
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp pink salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 9 cups broccoli raw
- 3 tbsp butter
- salt & pepper to taste
- Mix the ground beef with the spices and form 6 patties. Each patty should weigh raw around 1/3 pound. Cook on the grill until desired doneness.Next measure out how many servings of broccoli per person and add to a steamer basket. Steam until tender and drain. Add butter, salt & pepper and mix. Top burger with dill pickles and relish. If you're low on protein for the day try adding a fried egg to the top of the burger! Also, if you don't like mustard try avocado instead. Serve with your steamed broccoli and enjoy!
