Keto Chocolate Avocado Mousse
With only a few ingredients, you can make a delicious and satisfying dessert!
- 185 grams hass avocado 1.5 avocados
- 92 grams cocoa powder (1 cup)
- 28 grams cocoa butter, grated (1/3 cup)
- 1/2 cup Bocha Sweet or keto approved sweetener
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
Cut up avocado and remove from skin. I needed roughly 1.5 regular sized avocados to get the 185 grams needed. Roughly chop avocado and place in a bowl. Measure out 1 cup or 92 grams cocoa powder and add to bowl. Using a cheese grater, grate the cocoa butter and add to bowl. Add keto sweetener and vanilla to bowl.Transfer mixture to a food processer, stand mixer or use a hand mixer to combine ingredients. until a smooth mousse forms. Taste and adjust sweetener to taste. I like to use a large cake decorating tip and a piping bag to form my little mousse patties or fat bombs. You can use a spoon instead of the piping bag method or a ziplock bag with a corner cut off as well. You can also pipe the mixture into a dessert bowl!Place your piping bag into a tall glass. Spoon out mousse into the piping bag until full. Pipe your mousse onto parchment paper. I got 15 fat bombs with this method but you can make as many or as little as you'd like based on your macros. Pro tip! I found it piped better once the heat of my hands warmed it up. I would microwave the mixture for 5-10 seconds or hold it in my hands for a couple minutes before piping for a smoother process.
