1cupMarinara Sauce (I used Thrive Market brand)no sugar
1/2tsppink salt
1/4tspgarlic powder
1tbspItalian seasoning
1/4tsppaprika
1/4tspblack pepper
1/2cupparmesan cheese
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butterfly the chicken breasts by slicing horizontally through each chicken breast stopping about 95% of the way through. You have cut enough when you can lay the breast flat. Repeat with each chicken breast.Season each breast with SPG (salt, pepper, garlic, paprika) and Italian seasoning. Spray a skillet lightly with avocado oil spray and turn on heat to medium-high. Add chicken breasts and cook each side about 5-6 minutes. I covered my skillet to help speed up the cooking. It should get a slight crust or sear on each side. Then add the marinara sauce and simmer on low. Cooke for another 5 minutes.Remove from skillet and place on pan. Add 2 tablespoons of parmesan cheese to each chicken breast and bake until cheese melts.
