Oven Baked Italian Chicken

This is a great recipe to make quickly for those nights where you are short on time. I like to save time and cook chicken up on the stove top first and then finish it in the oven. However, you can do this recipe in the oven using raw chicken. You’ll just need to adjust the cooking time.

Baked Chicken With Italian Seasoning

Servings 6


  • 2 lbs chicken breast, diced
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese


  • Dice up chicken into cubes. For faster cooking, place chicken by itself in a fry pan and cook until juices run clear. Spray avocado oil in a 9×13 casserole dish and place cooked chicken. Add Italian seasoning and spices and mix well. Sprinkle parmesan cheese and pats of butter on top and bake in a 400 degree oven for 5 minutes or until cheese is crispy.
