Stop buying your nuts! Make your own and save your money while improving the quality of your food. You can use this recipe for pecans, walnuts, almonds, etc. They can be stored in a jar or plastic bag for up a week or so…. if you can get them to last that long!
Oil Roasted Pecans
- 2 pounds raw pecans or nut of your choice
- spray avocado oil
- pink salt to taste
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Spread pecans on a baking sheet and spray with avocado oil until evenly coated. Sprinkle salt over them and mix. Repeat if any nuts were not hit with the spray or salt. Pat the nuts down flat so that the most surface area of the nut is exposed.Roast in the oven for 10 minutes. Flip nuts and roast another 10 mins.Store in a mason jar or ziplock bag.
