It’s the final countdown! We have 3 days to go (including this one). Then it will be time for you to spread your wings and fly solo! I hope I have been making this keto lifestyle easy for you to learn and gain confidence that you can do this! It isn’t hard – it just takes some adjusting.
Kyle and I logged another 5.25 mile walk today. Then I made a new lunch idea for you. I’ve been working on making my own homemade protein bars but my recipe isn’t ready to share just yet. There’s still a little tweaking to get the macros perfect but I’m so close to a really solid, and tasty keto protein bar! I also have been craving Greek yogurt so today you get to see another way to get protein in your lunch. Plain Greek yogurt is actually really high in protein and also very filling. I typically will have 1 serving and add some nuts or keto granola on the top. I give my kids a bowl with berries often for breakfast.
Although plain Greek yogurt is high in protein, it is also higher in carbs. However, on days you get your exercise in feel free to enjoy some or you can also plan the rest of your day to be lower in carbs to offset the lunch. It comes down to just thinking about what goes into your day and planning.
