Day 3 is another keto day and I’m already feeling so much better, both mentally and physically. I do want to mention that I am fasting (intermittent) until noon so my first meal of the day will start at lunch time. Don’t feel like you absolutely have to incorporate fasting in order to see results. Start slow and focus on getting the foods nailed down and you can always add the fasting in later to step up your game.
Lunch was 3 eggs, 3 slices of bacon and 5 ounces of leftover chicken tenders. It was so yummy and satisfying, not to mention filling! Notice how much more food your plate contains for what the actual macronutrients consist of compared to your old way of eating.
Afternoon snack was my keto coffee. On keto days I use the Perfect Keto unflavored collagen and 2 tablespoons cream in my coffee. It’s super hot out right now so I enjoy this iced coffee while I’m prepping dinner.
Dinner was super quick and easy. I make this meal once a week because of how fast you can put together this easy keto meal. I use the frozen 1/3 lb grass-fed beef patties from Costco and season them up with garlic, salt, pepper and chili powder and then grill them to perfection. I added 1 ounce of cheddar cheese and a fried egg to my burger and squirted a hefty dollop of yellow mustard. I served roasted asparagus on the side. I usually do 8 ounces of asparagus mixed with 1 tablespoon avocado oil per person. I then added garlic, salt and pepper and mixed well. With the oven set to 400 degrees, I roasted them for 15-20 minutes, depending on the thickness of the asparagus.
I ended the day with fat free Greek yogurt mixed with Perfect Keto strawberry collagen. This is a super satisfying dessert that helps me hit my protein macros as well as helping my tummy with those cultures in the yogurt. Enjoy!
