You’re going to really enjoy this day of eating. It’s full of flavor, protein packed and has none of the gut busting ingredients that will slow down your journey. Day 4 is a PSMF (protein sparing modified fasting) day but you can choose to do any kind of fasting on this day. The only rule is pick something and stick with it throughout the challenge.
I began breakfast off today with protein sparing cinnamon rolls with a bowl of fat free Greek yogurt that was mixed with a sprinkling of cinnamon. The psmf cinnamon rolls were inspired by this recipe and I highly suggest you check out all the recipes on Maria’s website. You won’t be disappointed!
Lunch was a flavor packed chicken breast with a wing sauce. Afternoon snack was my usual psmf coffee. The difference between my keto coffee and the psmf coffee is the cream. On keto days I used heavy cream and on psmf days I use light cream or half & half.
Dinner was two delicious turkey burgers with sugar free ketchup and cucumber slices.
