This delicious recipe will be an instant favorite. How can you go wrong with Jack Daniels, cheese and bacon?!
- 1 cup bacon crumbles (I used Kirkland bacon crumbles)
- 1/2 cup Jack Daniels
- 3/4 cup Swerve Brown Sugar
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1 large head cauliflower
- 2 cups to 1 qt bone broth
- 3 TBS butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 TBS Jack Daniels
- 2 oz cream cheese
- 3 cups sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- salt & pepper to taste
In a sauce pan add Jack Daniels and simmer on medium to let reduce it to 2 TBS in volume. Add bacon crumbles and cayenne pepper and simmer.
Cut up cauliflower into evenly sized chunks. Add to large sauce pan and pour in bone broth. Cover and let steam for 15-20 mins.
Meanwhile, make cheese sauce with the remaining ingredients. Add bacon bits and stir. Strain any liquid left from the cauliflower and then add to the cheese sauce. Mix until it’s all combined. Enjoy!
