Keto “Flackers”

This is such an easy recipe for a keto cracker. It’s made with flaxseeds, water and spices so it doesn’t get much easier than that. You can use flaxseed meal or whole flaxseeds in this recipe. If you use whole flaxseeds you’ll need to soak the mix overnight in the fridge.

Ingredients:

1 cup whole flaxseeds, golden
1 cup whole flaxseeds, dark
1 tsp pink salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp everything bagel seasoning (optional)

If using whole flaxseeds:
Pour flaxseeds and spices in a medium sized bowl and mix. Add 1 cup of water and mix until combines. Cover with plastic wrap and let soak overnight in the fridge. (skip the next section and process to rolling out the flaxseeds)

If you want to spead the process up use can make your own ground flaxmeal by using a food processor and grind up the flaxseeds into flax meal. Store bought flaxmeal would be okay too. Add the water and spices and mix well.

Using parchment paper, add flaxseed mixture and roll out. You want to get it as flat and even as possible. It will be sticky so you may need a second piece of parchment paper to help.

Bake in the oven at 275 degrees for 1 hour. Let cool completely and then break into smaller pieces. Store in a plastic bag or glass jar.
